What an amazing morning with our RockStars around theme of What do you believe. They did the music, shared the word, provided handouts and led the entire morning!
Guest speakers, Alan and Betty Scotland were with us yesterday morning. Betty shared a brief word of encouragement and Alan followed with the message on The Presence, Provision and Power of our Hospitable Father.
Richard wraps up our series on Ephesians with a message entitled Standing Together where he looks at how we fight for one another.
This week we look at the cultural challenges facing the next generation. As a body, we need to be aware and be a voice for those who are following behind us - we all have a voice and we all have influence. We are all Bound Together. (I realise this message is a bit longer than normal and I appreciate your understanding as it was an important topic that we must be aware of. Hopefully, this information will increase our awareness and determine our actions. Joel)
Using the visual illustrations of a beach windbreaker, paper measuring tapes and a shredder, Richard continued our current theme "Together", how the work that God has done in our lives causes a Togetherness Beyond Barriers.
Deon shared on part 2 of our current theme, Together. We are going through the book of Ephesians and he shared on To.Get.Her. In Christ. Deon spoke about God's plan and purpose from the beginning. This is a powerful and challenging message - well worth a listen!
Kicking off our new theme, TOGETHER we will be going through the book of Ephesians. We look at how the book of Ephesians is a huge dream all about the local church! Paul challenges us to be who Christ has made us - Better Together
Richard shared some reflections and asked the question, Why would Jesus need to come back with a physical body? He also looked at how this is a relevant discussion in our culture today as we can either segment our lives or view it more holistically.
Peter was one of Jesus' closest friends but there were times when he needed to hear Jesus say the same thing to him more than once. Sometimes, we too, need to hear again how God's heart is always reaching out.
Ever realised how even Jesus' closest friends didn't believe he had risen from the dead at first? Jesus was gracious as he journeyed with their unbelief which gives us an insight in how we share our faith with our loved ones on their journey from unbelief.
