Beth Tarbutton brings her strategic and creative vision to everything she is involved in. Committed to God and to people, she serves passionately, and seeks to draw the best out of everyone, whether in church or the secondary school she works in. A creative at heart, Beth trained in performing arts and Biblical Theology in LA, USA, gained a BA Hons degree in English Literature and Theatre and went on to receive a Post Graduate certificate in Secondary Education. Beth has taught in UK secondary schools for 20 years and currently teaches Philosophy and Ethics and English Literature in a local secondary school.
She has co-led New Life Church Letchworth for the last 11 years and is driven to create a church that is at the heart of the local community, demonstrating God’s love and helping people live lives full of purpose. Beth enjoys writing Christian teaching resources for children and young people and the lessons she writes are used in churches across the network. Her most recent endeavour has been to write a New Testament Bible curriculum for 5- 12 year olds which helps children develop a love for the Bible and live a life of faith.
Beth loves living in Letchworth with her husband Joel, 4 amazing children, cute dog, 3 birds and 1 hamster.
Beth has responsibility for SuperStars and Worship and currently oversees the Women’s Ministry.
