Richard was born in Liverpool and moved to Letchworth in 1986 where he and Rosalind, his wife, brought up their two sons. He now often enjoys hosting visits from their five young grandchildren.
Three years ago he retired from working as a local GP where he worked for over thirty years. People have always been Richard’s passion; he believes everyone is extraordinary in their uniqueness and he is passionate that we can all flourish as who, and for whom, we have been made to be. He enjoys meeting people, having a coffee with friends, hiking with others and getting his PC to work!
He and Rosalind both enjoy camping and exploring the hidden corners of France on foot. His favourite meals out, however, are usually Italian.
Richard is actively involved with CHOICE PREGNANCY ADVICE CENTRE and has responsibility for Pastoral Care at New Life.
Check out a recent devotional series Richard ran entitled, You’ll Never Walk Alone. This devotional series asks, How do we find strength, security and direction when the future is unclear? How do we move on when there is no going back? Does clinging to my past forfeit the future?
